CHECK OUT THE 2009 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE!! For those of you who are new to the club, and as a reminder to all you "old salts", our club plays winter rules all year long which means you may "bump" the ball, anywhere on the course up to 6 inches. Also we play "double par pickup". Max 6 on a par 3, 8 on a par 4, 10 on a par 5. Balls hit out of bounds are put back in play "line of sight" closest to the point of exit, one stroke penalty, no loss of distance. These club rules have been put into effect to speed play and I only remind you because I've seen lots of 7's and 8's on par 3's lately. I would also like to have everyone become familiar with the rules for adjusting your score to conform to the Equitable Stroke Control guidelines as established by the USGA. These can be found in the NCGA site under "Handicapping and Course Rating.
